Gelonade strain information
Gelonade hit the headlines, taking out "Best Sativa" at the 2018 High Times Cup, and that traction hasn't eased off. A Sativa-dominant blend of Lemon Tree and Gelato #41, the flavors are almost as intense as the cerebral left hook Gelonade delivers.
Gelonade is super versatile in terms of preferred growing conditions, doing really well in both indoor and outdoor setups. It tends to reach a medium height and can be grown using any media you like, although coco-coir seems to be her favorite.
Flower production finishes in 8-10 weeks, usually yielding around 500-600g/m2. Outdoors, she can produce around 800g per plant, sometimes slightly more under optimal conditions.
What Are The Effects Of Gelonade?
Every single plant tested pushed out 26% THC or above, so it should be no surprise that this strain will leave you feeling stoned as s***! The effects are long-lasting and intense, starting with a blast of uplifting energy before settling into a relaxed yet focused state.
Gelonade is often prescribed for anxiety, general stress, and pain, but is also just a great day/afternoon strain in general.
How do you grow Gelonade Seeds
Gelonade seeds from MNSL go great in a wide range of climatic conditions, and is up there with the easiest commercially available strains to grow.
If you can keep the temps within the 65 to 70F range, the relative humidity around 50 to 55% for the entire grow, and give her all the nutrients she needs, you can expect some seriously big-time cola production.
Set up a ScrOG net the same week that flowering begin, and top her one or twice during vegetative growth for a much more manageable plant during flowering. This is especially recommended if height restrictions are a concern.
Gelonade Taste And Smell
The taste and smell of a strain are more important than most think, but especially true with Gelonade. The terpene profile is intense and complex, full of citrus fruits, creamy lemon sugary snaps, and spicy herbaceous undertones. Terpinolene, Caryophyllene, and Myrcene are all present in heavy doses.
