OG Kush has an impressive 24% THC to deal pain a knock-out blow and pull you out of the emotional depths. It's a robust and vigorous strain with plenty of landrace genetics to ensure all-round hardiness. Beginners should be fine with it and even connoisseurs will appreciate the amazing taste.
With 24% THC, OG Kush delivers fast-acting and powerful pain relief along with a euphoric and energetic cerebral high. It's still an Indica dominant at heart, so you also get a deeply relaxing body stone to go along with it.
The taste of OG Kush is truly mouth-watering. The top notes balance citrus freshness and berry sweetness and the base notes have the sturdiness of diesel. The aroma is sweet overall, but has a definite fuel strength to it.
Although it's about 75% Indica, OG Kush does like to grow and outdoors can stretch up to 3M giving harvests of up to 1.1Kg per plant around early/mid-October. Fortunately for people growing indoors, OG Kush responds well to plant training and so can be kept much shorter. It finishes flowering in just 8 weeks and can deliver up to 550g/m2.
Genetically, this version of OG Kush is an interesting cross between the two landrace strains Lemon Thai and Pakistani plus Chemdawg. The original Chemdawg has long had something of a reputation as being a strain best left to experts as it could be a real pain to grow, but thankfully the landrace genetics have counterbalanced this and turned it from a bit of a diva into a perfectly reasonable strain, which should be within the capability of the average beginner.
Use OG Kush in the daytime for pain, fatigue, stress and depression.
