White Widow strain information
If you haven't heard of White Widow, then you must either be new to the cannabis world or denser than the rock you've been living under. This is one of the most famous strains of all time, and now MSNL have upped the white widow game with a cultivar truly worthy of the hype.
A blend of an unknown Brazilian Sativa and a South Indian Indica, this one of the first mass produced hybrids, and to say it changed the weed world wouldn't be an understatement. One of the very first strains to offer balanced effects, a shorter than usual flowering time of 8 to 10 weeks, and yields of 500+gr/m² aren't uncommon.
What Are The Effects Of White Widow?
White Widow offers a fast-acting, uplifting but well balanced high, thanks to its THC levels ranging from 16%-19%. Most Sativa dominant strains are a little more racey, but White Widow strikes that gorgeous balance between energy and relaxation.
This strain is perfect for creative projects or social situations, as it can foster a sense of euphoria, especially amongst groups. Med patients also love this one thanks to its relief of stress, anxiety, and help with chronic pain issues.
How do you grow White Widow Seeds
White Widow thrives in most climatic conditions, but prefers a tropical to subtropical environment. Temperature above 26C (79F) and a sunny/greenhouse type setup will be the ideal for outdoor growers. Indoors, use the brightest LED or HID light you can get your hands on and watch this strain go from strength to strength.
While the genetics point to it being slightly Sativa dominant, the growth pattern is closer to an Indica. Max height is usually around the 6 foot mark, and you do yourself a favor by starting stress training early. During the vegetative stage, White Widow develops thick, bushy growth, so do your best to try and spread things pout a little.
White Widow Taste And Smell
White widow pumps out a bunch of the terpenes Myrcene, Caryophyllene, and Pinene, resulting in a very woody, piney smell. The taste is similar and can be a bit more earthy/musky than other hybrids, but still super delicious.
